Abandon a Product

If you abandon a product, it is gone for good. One alternative to this course of action is to redevelop the product by selecting a new design in the 'Development' decision screen, alternatively, you could just choose not to produce any of that product this year.

If you change your mind before the next rollover then you can click the 'Restore product' button to reverse your decision.

Note: Any finished goods inventory on hand will be sold at cost in the next period. As a result there will be no profit impact from the sale, but there will be an inflow of cash.
