The manufacturing responsiveness screen is where you enter your decisions about how you are going to spend your money on manufacturing related costs. There are two key components to manufacturing responsiveness - capacity and process. Changes made to either of these areas apply for all the firm's products.
On the Capacity Tab are decisions relating to changing the size of the work force and the size of the plant used by your firm. The shaded boxes labeled "Existing Workers/Current Plant Size" tell you the current level of your Work force and Equipment.
To change the amount of workers or size of the plant, select either "Hire/Fire" or "Buy/Sell" respectively, then enter the figure in the appropriate field.
