The Scenario Information reports tell you everything you need to know about the parameters that control your simulation. You should quickly read the Scenario reports every period as some things such as estimated market size change every year.
Also this help file and the players manual have to cover a wide range of different simulation configurations, so we can't put all the scenario information in here. Examples in the help file like "40% of Adventurers watch TV" could actually be different for your particular simulation. So if in doubt, rely on the information in the Scenario Information reports.
